Divine Guidance Comes When I SEEK PEACE
Ever wondered why it is sometimes hard to hear your Whisper (inner guidance), and at other times it comes so easy? The answer is really very simple, although during the moments of duress it may not seem so.
Recently a woman came to me who was sincerely seeking peace. She had circumstances in her life (in the external world) that she wanted to change, but just as importantly she sincerely wanted to feel at peace. During her processing she had a moment of enlightenment when she realized that divine guidance comes when you seek peace.
YES! That’s it! When we seek guidance with an agenda or a motive in mind, there is no openness for truth to impart itself. When the mind is so noisy telling the universe how life needs to be different, it is difficult and sometimes even impossible to hear your guidance.
A few weeks back, I made a $2000 purchase. I changed my mind about my purchase within the allotted time period. There was some question as to whether they were going to refund my money or not. Every time I thought about it, I felt anxious. In the last few years, peace has become my regular state and when I am not at peace, I miss it! After a few hours of feeling anxious, I realized that I could choose peace whether or not my money would ever be refunded. Even if I was out $2000 I could still be at peace. It’s the only way to live!
Knowing that PEACE is the only sane choice, I focused inside and asked the Whisper, “What do you want me to know?” It replied, “REST”. Refund or not, peace it would be, even if I was out $2000.
A fascinating thing happened shortly after I had chosen peace. They refunded my money! Every last dime of it!
Peace is always a choice. You can hear your Whisper so much easier when you are in the state of peace. From peace, wisdom rises up inside you like a bubble floating to the surface. From the place of peace, you simply KNOW what to do. There is no decision to make, because you KNOW.
When you have a choice to make, CHOOSE PEACE!
